Cessel J. Boyd
Hi, I am Cessel J. Boyd but you may call me C. J.! A loving mother to an adult son, I am originally from a small town in North Carolina. My passion for counseling and helping others developed in High School. This desire led me to obtain my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical (NC A&T) State University in 1997 and a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2011. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
I have 24 years of experience working in the Behavioral Health Field. This experience includes working with students in the public-school system, Prison Mental Health, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse Crisis Facilities, Mental Health Hospitals, Non-Profit organizations, Employee Assistance Programs, and Private Practice settings. I established C. J. Boyd Christian Counseling Services, PLLC in December of 2014. Since then I have helped clients achieve success while struggling in the following areas: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Bipolar Disorder, Addiction (substances, pornography, and screen addiction), Relationship issues, and Workplace/Career/University transitions.
I LOVE what I do! I look forward to continuing this work and assisting others on their journey to wellness.

Melissa Jimenez
Hello, my name is Melissa Jimenez. I am a loving and dedicated mother to an active preschooler who resides in New York. I have always been well balanced and an outlet for those in need. Patience and understanding are both two of my most powerful gifts when interacting with others. This led me to begin a career path in counseling at Long Island University (LIU), where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 2014. Soon after, I remained at LIU to attend graduate school, where I also received my Master of Education Degree in School Counseling in 2018.
Over the course of my career, I have acquired 5 years of administrative experience with Northwell Health Hospitals, as well as over 10 years of customer service skills. I have a profound ability and proven track record in streamlining processes, maximizing efficiency, and fostering professional relationships within organizations. Therefore, my passion is to contribute, support, and make a difference.
Ultimately, I look forward to gaining a better perspective on situations and opportunities as it relates to real-life experiences in counseling. I am eager to venture into this new journey!

She currently works as a Social Worker for C.J Boyd Christian Counseling Services, PLLC and as a Mental Health and Wellness Manager for a local Early Head Start Program. In addition to these achievements, she is well trained in Conscience Discipline, Zero to Three DC0-5 Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aide. Her passion for children and families has led her to volunteer at Wake County St. Monica Teen Center and the Boys and Girls Club of Wake County. After years of working with children, Deidre’s favorite quote easily became, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men” by Frederick Douglas. This prompted her to see children’s well-being through the lens of the Systems Approach, which means building up a child’s environment to encourage positive influence and cultivate socioemotionally sound individuals.
